Set in the stunning Wiltshire countryside, Maud Heath Vineyard started its journey in 2006 with the hand-planting of 6 acres of vines.

Today, we proudly cultivate over 9,000 vines, producing Premier English wine, backed by industry awards that recognize the quality and craftsmanship we bring to every bottle.

Our success is a testament to our vineyard’s unique microclimate, which allows our grapes to thrive.

Our vineyard is home to:

  • Bacchus – 2,350 vines

  • Pinot Noir Précoce – 2,000 vines

  • Pinot Noir – 1,500 vines

  • Pinot Meunier – 650 vines

  • Chardonnay – 1,550 vines

  • Rondo – 1,050 vines

Our Premier English Wines stand out for their character and quality, including our Silver Decanter Award winning, elegant Chardonnay, which is crisp, full of bright acidity, and showcases the extraordinary potential of this grape in the English terroir.

And we’re proud to present our signature Tytherton Red—a unique blend of Pinot Noir and Rondo, a wine that defies expectations with its bold, yet smooth complexity, showing just how well red wines can thrive in the UK despite the cooler climate.

Each of our vineyards plays a vital role in our winemaking:

  • Pinot Noir Vineyard: Dedicated exclusively to Pinot Noir, where we carefully nurture the grapes to create expressive, elegant wines.

  • Sunset Vineyard: A vibrant mix of Chardonnay, Pinot Précoce, Rondo, Pinot Meunier, and Bacchus—each vine soaking up the golden evening light.

  • Pas De Nom Vineyard: Yes, you read that right! We couldn’t settle on a fitting name, so we went with ‘Pas De Nom’—but don’t let the name fool you, the Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Bacchus grown here are nothing short of extraordinary.

An Exciting New Chapter for English Wine

This winter, we’re embarking on one of our most ambitious projects yet: Maud Heath Vineyard will more than double its acreage with the creation of two new vineyards: Blanc De Blanc and Herringbone.

Blanc De Blanc will focus on producing the finest Chardonnay, while Herringbone will introduce the bright and zesty Sauvignon Blanc alongside more of our award-winning Pinot Noir.

Despite the challenges of producing wine in England’s unpredictable climate, Maud Heath Vineyard continues to push boundaries, crafting wines that truly represent the best of what this region has to offer.

Our Chardonnay, Tytherton Red, and sparkling Pinot Noir Rosé are testaments to this, with the latter proving it can challenge even the finest Champagnes for quality—though we can’t quite call it Champagne due to a pesky little rule about regions!
