Happy New Year from Maud Heath Vineyard

As we step into 2026, we want to take a moment to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported Maud Heath Vineyard throughout 2025. Whether you bought a bottle to enjoy at home, shared our wines with friends, or joined us for one of our summer events, your support truly means a lot!

2025 was a fantastic year here at the vineyard, and we’re incredibly grateful to have such a wonderful community around us. But we can honestly say that 2026 is shaping up to be something truly special. We’ve got some very exciting things in the pipeline and we can’t wait to share what we are working on, with you over the coming months. While it may be a quieter time out in the vines, it’s certainly not quiet behind the scenes. It’s a new year here at Maud Heath Vineyard, and although the vines are resting, there’s plenty of busy “backstage” work going on as we prepare for the season ahead. Over the next few weeks, Alex will be heading into pruning time which he will be cutting back old wood to shape the vines, limit yields, and set everything up perfectly for healthy new growth in the spring. It’s a vital part of the vineyard year and one that lays the foundations for the wines to come.

We also wanted to share a few wine updates. We’ve now sold out of our Bacchus, but don’t worry, there won’t be a long wait until the new 2024 vintage is released. Even more exciting, we’ll be welcoming a rosé this spring, which is something we haven’t produced since 2015. We can’t wait for you to try it.

TOUR AND TASTING EVENTS

Looking ahead, we’ve already released some tour and tasting dates, which are now live on our website, so do book early to avoid missing out. And keep an eye out, as we’ll be adding more event dates very soon.
