Autumn at the Vineyard... Harvest, Hampers & Christmas Cheer!
As the golden leaves fall and the evenings draw in, we’ve wrapped up another fantastic harvest here at the vineyard, and what a harvest it was! The vines have worked their magic once again, and after months of care and attention, the grapes are now safely in, ready to begin their transformation into next year’s wines. That’s harvest done and dusted for another year!
While the vineyard takes a well earned rest, there’s still plenty going on behind the scenes. Alex has been on the hunt for a brand new tractor, a very exciting development for him (and for the rest of us too!). The new addition will help keep the vineyard in tip top shape, ready for another productive growing season.
As we move towards the festive season, our Christmas hampers are going live on the website this week! Each one is packed full of locally sourced artisan produce, from Dauntsey Preserves and Hollychocs chocolate crackers to Brinkworth Dairy cheeses and many more delicious treats. They make the perfect gift for food and wine lovers alike (or even just a little something special for yourself!).
We’re also thrilled to be out and about at some wonderful Christmas fairs this year! You’ll find us at the Bowood Christmas Fair, as well as the East Tytherton and Bremhill Christmas Fairs, selling our hampers, gifts, and of course, our wines. We can’t wait to see you there!
And finally, we have some truly exciting news… On Saturday 6th December, we’re hosting our very own Christmas Market right here at the vineyard! Join us from 2pm–6pm for an afternoon filled with festive cheer; think mulled wine, local Christmas gifts, food stall, hot chocolate, carols, a nativity scene, and of course, tractors and tinsel! It promises to be a wonderfully festive day for all ages, and we’d love for you to come along and celebrate the season with us.

Here’s to a fantastic end to the year full of fabulous wine, great company, and plenty of Christmas sparkle.
Cheers,
The Vineyard Team
