One of the most exciting things we've accomplished recently is writing the tasting notes, designing and printing the label, and providing our talented winemakers at Litmus Wines with the finishing touches for our new English Red Wine: Marden Valley.
Along with the closures (cork), capsules and labels, we carefully selected the shape and colour of the bottle it’s presented in—a classic burgundy—chosen for its perfect pairing with Pinot Noir.
Once the labels arrive at Litmus around October 21st, the final stage will be to apply them to the bottles, settle the duty fees, and ensure the wine is ready for release to us—and ultimately, to you!
Named after the picturesque Marden Valley, renowned for its stunning countryside, rich agricultural land, and charming villages, our Marden Valley Red showcases an earthy richness and velvety smoothness, culminating in a long, lingering finish.
Crafted from 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Pinot Meunier from the exceptional 2018 vintage, Marden Valley is soon to be ready for your enjoyment. This medium crimson wine, with brick-red hues, revealing vibrant red berry aromas and subtle hints of vanilla pairs beautifully with a selection of cheeses, making it an excellent addition to your winter gatherings.
